I interested about;

1. Relation between Moldova and Romania? How many people think that Moldovans and Romanians are one nation?

2. Percen of population for uniting with Romania, and what for reestablishment of Soviet Union?

3. What is difference between official language in Moldova and Romania?
Why was official language in Moldova renamed in 1994 from Romanian to Moldovan? What is status of Ukrainian and Russian language

4. What language does president Voronin speak?

5. What Moldovans think about rulling Communist Party and president Voronin?

6. Would Moldova become now EU member if it had united Romania in 1991?

Almost all, except a minority in strong "economical" relation with moscow.

2. Percen of population for uniting with Romania, and what for reestablishment of Soviet Union?

Nobody knows because the comunists keep the common moldovans in darkness.
But about 80% of the intelectuality are for reunification with romania.

3. What is difference between official language in Moldova and Romania?

No difference. It was renamed to Moldovan at russian presure (soviets started this). Ukrainian and russian languages have the same status as spanish has in US. Moscow is pressuring though for making russian a state language (Just like Spain or Mexico would pressure USA to make spanish a state language in US)

4. What language does president Voronin speak?

I heard his russian is bad, i know his english is awfull and my 2 years old nephew speaks a better romanian then him.

5. What Moldovans think about rulling Communist Party and president Voronin?

They cant wait to get rid of it.

6. Would Moldova become now EU member if it had united Romania in 1991?

Most likely

I used to live in Moldova. I left because of russian repression.

Not all elections are free. Russians dominate the moldovan media and they can elect anyone they like. Comunists are the most corrupt of all. They done nothing good, they lost popularity lately because they attacked Romania at moscow command.

2. what percent have parties that want unification with Romania?

10% officially

3. what is official ortodox church - Romanian or Russian ?

Russian.

4. i heard that lot of Russians live in Chisinau/Kishinev,is is true?

yes like 40% russians in Chisinau.

5. which music is played on radion stations - domestic (moldovan), romanian, western(us&english) or eastern(russian & ukrainian)?

90% of the media is cotroled by moscow so most of the music is russian

Kommunists also have not kept their biggest promise: The Recuperation of Transnistria.

I would say that there are less than 40% of russians in CH. The impression of lots of russians in ch is created by the fact that a lot of moldovans speak russian in stores, markets, streets, cinemas, parks, organisations... and also a lot of rusians received moldavian citizen-ships in yearly 90's.

The amount of american, european and romanian music put together equals with russian music... But evrybody listens what he wants. I watch only mtv 4 example..

First of all, judging your rather limited command of English (mildly speaking), I assume
that English is not your native language. Therefore, my question is: what is your native language?

Second of all, your questions show quite a good knowledge of today's realities in Moldova.
This allows me to infer that all your questions are of merely declamatory nature, and I
suspect that there is more of a hidden agenda in your "interest" rather than a sheer desire
to get informed.

Finally, this is a romanian forum, i.e. all posts should be written in romanian. You can still
post messages written in languages other than romanian in "Forum International". My
guess is that moderators will move this thread in there.
