Dear All, I am looking for any information about dancing in Chisinau. Does anybody know a club or place, where one could dance latin-ameridan dances (especially salsa) or maybe even my favourite argentinian tango. Or maybe You could help me finding any dance-school, wher one could learn social dances. (I am not interested in any techno or disco clubs ;-)
I am going to spend a few months in Your capital. I would be very thankfull for any information.

Hallo Alle! Vielleicht kennt jemand ein Ort in Chisinau, wo man latainische Tanze tanzen kann (ich meine vor allem Salsa oder auch argentinisches Tango). Oder vielleicht kennt jemand eine Tanzschule, wo man tanzen lernen kann. (An Disco oder Techno bin ich jedoch ueberhaupt nicht interresiert.
Ich werde einige Montate in Euer Haupstadt verbringen.
Ich waere sehr dankbar fuer irgendwelche informationen.

Woher kommst du eigentlich?
Negru, wie heisst die straße wo sich "Dendrarium" befindet? Dort (auf dieser straße) gibt es die "Codreanca" Tanzschule (neben "Ion Creanga" Universität)....

Caesare come to Dubai, there are a lot of places to dance salsa here. :)
Are you interested in night clubs with Latin music or schools that teach salsa?
BTW when are you going to be in Chisinau?
Do you have a dancing partner already?

Thanks a lot for the first informations. Yes I am going to be in Chisinau. Accually from tomorow, for three days, but in the next Year I will come probably for a few months.
But comming back to my "Dance-question", I am quite well argentinian tango dancer (but not a professional). Argentinan tango has almost nothing to do with the "artificial" ballroom dance, that you can look at during dancing contests. Argentinan tango - a real dance for normal people - has started to come back to Europe for the last 10 years. They now "do" tango in most bigger cities in Europe, you can check at:
http://www.cyber-tango.com/e/geo_e.html (probably the best collecion of tango-websites) For last four years we can dance tango in Poland (wher I come from), now You can also dance tango in Kiev for example, but I couldn't find any information about such a possibility in Chisinau (Everytime I go abroad I try to find tango, this is really strong sickness ;-). If there is no such a place in Your capital, maybe I will try to teach some interested people (the "salsa people" usually want to dance tango). The other thing in my question is, that I personally want to learn salsa, and in Chisinau I will surely have more free time than I used to in Warsaw.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass die "Codreanca" Tanzschule alles was du willst hat. Ich habe selbst dort 3 Jahre getanzt(Tango, Cha-cha, Rumba, Salsa,....). Es tut mir leid dass ich auf Deutsch schreibe...ich habe gerade keine lust auf English! Ich habe die web-seite angeschaut....naja...was soll ich sagen....keine Ahnung wieso Moldawien dort nicht steht!
Branch: Sport clubs. Physical exercises centers
Goods and services: Sports club. Teaching children(and not only) elements of dance (Children's dance group).

I think I know what you are looking for.. but I doubt there is anything similar to Argentinian Tango in Moldova... not sure about salsa though..
I'm going for some Salsa lessons here in Dubai.. I really dig it... totally different from strict latinos dancing they teach in CODREANCA.
Though I may be wrong about Codreanca...
And yes you are right about salsa people wishing to learn Tango..
I would really like to.. may be next year when you will come for a couple of months? :)

Even until to day where is no a stable salsa location in Chisinau. But where is a group of people very interested to dance salsa.
